Ben Lim is the owner of The Media Skool and is currently working as a Chief Media Trainer. He started as a video production trainer cum director in one of the educational related company in year 2000.
During the stay in the company, he is actively involved in conducting video training, video & audio studio setup, technical and software support, pre to post video production and video consultant.
On the same year (2000), the company had won a tender to supply video production package included workstations and equipments to all the primary, secondary and tertiary schools in Singapore. Due to this tender project, Ben had trained more than 8000 teachers and students on basic video production skills.
After staying for 3½ years in the company, he went over to a local video distribution production house and pursues his passion on doing video editing, mastering and DVD authoring where is being exposed to different kind of DVD formats in the market.
In year 2004, Ben started a company by the name XSDfloral Production & Training Services and was hired directly by Admiralty Secondary School as resident trainer to provide them with video production training and news broadcasting skills. On top of that, he is also helping Admiralty Secondary School in winning 8th SVA (Year 2006), both advertisements were awarded with one sliver and one merit. After ending the 3 yrs contract with Admiralty Secondary School, he is still involved in guiding various schools on crafting video for students towards winning SVA - School Video Awards and SDMA - School Digital media Awards.
Ben is also a videographer. He is actively involved in several events like Citizen Road Show, Ai Tong School Gala Dinner in Shangri-La Hotel, Bedok NPC Road Show in Bedok Central, Sentosa promotional video for their company games day as well as Singapore Zoo training video.
Other than video production, Ben is also involved in studio recording industry with one of his friend; specializing in voice over talents, music arrangement, composing, recording and publishing. He has been collaborating with some Music Company like Sembawang Music, Orange Music and some other music schools.
In 2007 - 2008, Ben started to explore 2D & 3D animation. He was then in touch with both Crazytalk and iClone from Reallusion animation software. After trying the software for 1 year, Ben find it very suitable for educational sectors especially for teachers and students to create their training material or even project.
In 2009, Ben officially work as a distributor for Reallusion softwares and crafting many different kinds of suitable pedagogy for schools to adapt.
Assistant Training Manager
Specialised: Photography, Videography Production, 2D Animation, Game Design.
Gabriel started out photography in 2010. Within these five years, he had multiple experiences as a professional photographer on weddings, events, product shot and portraits.
He also picks up videography production and had done various wedding production and short films. “The best camera is the one that’s with you.” with this quote in mind, he does mobile photography and uploads his inspirational works through Instagram.
In 2011, Gabriel has displayed multiple photographs within ION Orchard by NOISE Singapore.
He is also skilled in image editing. Using software like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X. Even to the point of just using mobile application like VSCOcam, he is able to turn a dull photograph into a splendid piece of work.
In 2015, he joined The Media Skool as the lead photography trainer. Despite being the lead in photography, he also challenge himself and pick up the skill of 2D Animation and Game Design. With software programmer background in his Polytechnic days, creating and understanding 2D Animation and Game Design is not a chore.
Media Trainer (Creative Head)

Stephanie has graduated from LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore with a BA (Hons) in Animation Art (2014).
Since she was little, Stephanie has always fascinated by art and it became her passion. Through her studies in animation art, she began to learn more on story-telling. How art could be seen as a form to tell stories that derived from her surroundings.
Stephanie spends most of her time drawing and illustrating ideas inspired from mostly mother nature and human nature. She has a playful imagination and gives that spark to her creation. Stephanie uses a mix of traditional and digital mediums. Her technical skill to use various visual software includes Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Flash, TV Paint, and Dragon Frame.
Her first contact with an internship project was with Kindernomics (2013) in the making of a pilot episode for a cartoon series.
Besides doing animation projects, Stephanie has a passion in teaching and sharing her knowledge to students. Therefore, she joins The Media Skool to dedicate her talent to this training institute. Currently Stephanie has taught various schools in 2D animation, Advanced Videography, and Game Design.
Media Trainer (Production Head)

Since he was a kid, Edwin always wanted to make his own movie, to tell a unique story to the world. Having been a teacher for over years, Edwin understands the importance of how education can shape the future.
He has over 6 years of photography and videography experience. Having worked in a production studio environment, he is familiar with the processes that are taking place down the pipeline. He has brought with him 5 years of media training experience and has guided many schools in the past in video and photo competitions.
His skill set does not only limit to photography and videography. Edwin is also skilled in using various 2D animation and game design softwares as well as many of the softwares included in the Adobe Creative Suite.
Combining both experiences in teaching and in photography/videography, Edwin brings with him a unique set of skills that is vital in the training of media related topics.
Senior Media Trainer
Specialised: Music Production, DJing, Live Sound, Sound Design
Graduated from Diploma in Music and Audio Technology from Singapore Polytechnic and, Steve decided to quit his day job after a year of working as an AV specialist at a prestigious 5-star hotel and go all out making a career with his passion: music. Drawn to the amazing side of its production compared to mainstream music, Steve found his root in electronic dance music. Working on his own dance music productions and remixes under the moniker Werewinster, Steve is not only a producer behind the computer screen, but also a young and upcoming DJ who is able to heat up the dancefloor and rock the crowd.Besides his knowledge in music production, studio recording and mixing, currently working as a free-lance sound engineer for Singapore Chinese Orchestra and various event companies, Steve has ample experience in live sound as well.With his enthusiasm in music, Steve is constantly learning and absorbing from different areas of the industry, and hoping to share his love and knowledge to those who own the same minds. In 2010, Steve joined The Media Skool as a free-lance trainer.

Victoria has graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic with a diploma in Digital Media Design, (2010) and Digipen Institute of Technology, Singapore with a BA in Game Design (2013).
Since young, Victoria has always been fascinated by art and gaming that both became her passion, leading her to study game design. Through her studies, she learned about the important aspects of a game and how art contributes in bringing out the game's visuals and being a form of storytelling.
In her spare time, Victoria draws or jots down creative ideas and concepts inspired by everything that catches her eye, as well as researching on old and new topics of games. Her technical skills involve using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Painter, Zbrush, Autodesk 3DsMax, GameMaker, Unity Pro and Adobe Flash.
Currently, she is a game artist and game designer at an indie game company called RottenMage (2013), currently making a pixel platformer/tower defense game, SpaceJacked, in a team of four. Besides doing game projects, Victoria is teaching and sharing her knowledge to students also greatly interested in game design and art. In 2015, Victoria joined The Media Skool as a freelance trainer.

Nani is a freelance Animator and Illustrator. She has 5 years (2008-2014) of experience working as an Animator in Chips and Toon, a small animation studio. While in the company, she did both story creation, pre-production and production work. She worked as an Animator on Stoneboy, a short animated series and various other projects that included other mediums like, mobile gaming.Within those 5 years Nani was also active with her own personal projects. She had taken part in Art Exhibitions in the year 2011 and 2012. She was part of the Noise Singapore 2011 Exhibition and was then called upon to create a few booth exhibits at the Esplanade Youth fest 2012. She has also taken part in smaller exhibitions and attempted to create a shortfilm.As of 2014, She has left the company and have begun pursuing freelance work to experience and learn from different types of creative jobs and to also give more time to her personal projects.

Shizuka is a lead character designer during her Polytechnic final year project. She needs to design the main character including color studies and expression chart. She also assist other group members in 3D animation using Autodesk MAYA.She have been working as a freelancer in Sony Corporation & Panasonic Corporation to design their advertising posters. She is currently a media trainer in The Media Skool and also an animation asset creator for inhouse Reallusion Crazytalk Animator software.
